Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Lucearia, the family organisation app provided by [company name], [address] ("we", "Lucearia"). By using the app or creating an account you accept these terms.

1. What Lucearia is

Lucearia is a subscription service that brings together in one app a shared calendar, shopping list, meals, budget, photo gallery, family location and encrypted chat. It works on iPhone, Android and from a browser.

2. Account and family

To use Lucearia you create an account and a "family" (the household). Whoever creates the family must be of legal age or have reached the minimum age required by applicable law and invites the other members. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activities carried out from your account.

Use by minors takes place under the responsibility of the adult who invites them. See also the Privacy Policy, section 9.

3. Subscription, trial and payments

**Free trial.** Lucearia offers a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start it.

**Prices.** The subscription covers the whole family, it is not paid per person: 4.90 EUR per month or 39 EUR per year; in Switzerland, 5.90 CHF per month or 49 CHF per year.

**Renewal.** The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel it.

**Cancellation.** You can cancel at any time from the settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; you keep using the service until then.

**In-app purchases.** If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, billing and cancellation management follow Apple's or Google's rules, in addition to these terms.

4. Proper use of the service

You undertake not to use Lucearia for unlawful purposes, not to upload content that violates the rights of others or the law, not to attempt to access other families' data and not to compromise the security or operation of the service.

5. Your content

The content you upload (photos, texts, lists, messages) remains yours. You grant us only the technical authorisation needed to store it and show it to the members of your family, for the purpose of providing you with the service.

Chat messages are end-to-end encrypted: we cannot read them and therefore cannot moderate their content. Responsibility for what you write and share remains with whoever writes it.

6. Availability of the service

We work to keep Lucearia available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is". Interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons.

7. Deletion and closure of the account

You can delete the account and the family's data at any time from the app. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. On closure, the data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Lucearia after they come into force means accepting them.
